The Challenge
Leading the sports medicine industry for over 100 years, Cramer found difficulty creating unity among their many legacy brand identities. Hundreds of products, one-off sites, and low digital traffic, were just a few of the obstacles my team was tasked with addressing
My Role
UI/UX Designer ~ Not just design new and engaging experiences but also find creative ways to increase traffic and make SEO driven structures/layouts
Deliverables
Design and assist with development of HTML responsive emails, landing pages, and mobile apps
Active Ankle Paid Search Pages
After running the analytics, leading the pack in keywords searched in relation to ankle braces was volleyball. The Active Ankle site had nothing that spoke to this audience, or any language that supported why the product was a good fit for volleyball players
My Role
UX Analyst/Designer ~ Create an adaptable and keyword driven structure, that eventually became the template for other sports and SEO tailored content on Active Ankle
Cramer NATA Conference App
As one of the founding entities of NATA (The National Athletic Trainers' Association), Cramer had a responsibility to create new engaging experiences at the annual conference. I had the privilege of designing the product video micro-app, to display on various iPads placed throughout the show. Proving to be quite engaging, the app allowed us to collect thousands of new digital contacts growing our user base and product marketing opportunities
Responsive Bulletproof Emails
Cramer emails originally were limited by the bounds of the parent company’s (Performance Health) pre-structured template. An older design, and overall theme that did very little for its own brand identity. The numbers said it all, low CTR and people clicking in spots that didn’t have any functioning action
My Role
UX Designer/Developer ~ Presenting the analyzed data and receiving the direction to lead the redesign of new Cramer branded email templates. Templates that proved to be fully responsive across all major email clients, and increased interaction getting users to right content online
